I am receiving large amounts of spam. How do I stop this?

Confirm that you have a folder titled "spam" in your folder list. Additionally, check that your account is set to use this folder by clicking on the "Options" icon in webmail and then clicking on the "anti-spam settings" link. It should say that "Mail tagged as spam" is being filtered into your "spam" folder.

You can also try changing your spam control tolerance if you find that too much spam is getting through. Please go to the article titled How do I modify my spam control settings? for further instructions.

Most importantly, to reduce spam in your account, make sure to train the anti-spam system by dropping spams not caught by the system into your "spam-notcaught" folder.

Please note that we do not share your address with anyone under any circumstances. Most spam is a result of sharing one's email address with various websites, posting to newsgroups, or listing one's address on a website.
