How do I configure Netscape 7 for Windows?

  1. Open Netscape Messenger (click on the Mail icon from inside Netscape) and go to the Edit menu. Click on Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings...
  2. Click Add Account... to start configuring your account.
  3. Select Email Account and click Next.
  4. Enter Your Name. This should be your full name as you would like it to appear on messages you send.
  5. Enter your E-mail Address.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select IMAP.
  8. Enter 'mail.terabolic.com' in the Server Name field. Click Next.
  9. Double check that the User Name is correct. It should be set to your full username.
  10. Enter a desciptive name for your account configuration in the Account Name field and then click Next.
  11. Verify your account information and then click Finish.
  12. Select the Server Settings category for your newly created account. Check the box titled Use secure connection (SSL). Make sure the Port is set to 993.
  13. Select the Outgoing Server (SMTP) category.
  14. Change the Server Name to smtp.terabolic.com. Check the box Use name and password, enter your full username in the User Name field, and choose Always.
  15. Click OK.

Your account is now configured to check and send mail.

IMPORTANT: If you experience problems sending mail, please verify that your settings match the settings specified above.
