Please verify that your settings match the settings specified in the documents under
'Configuring E-mail Clients'. Specifically make sure you have
SMTP Authentication enabled with your correct username and password.
If you are still having problems and you are a windows user, please open up the dos prompt (Start->programs->accessories) and run the command listed below. If you are on Mac OSX, please open up Terminal (Applications->Utilities) and run the command:
telnet smtp.terabolic.com smtp
If the connection does not go through, this indicates that your ISP is blocking SMTP. If this is the case, please change the outgoing port from 25 to port 587. This should solve most problems. If it does not, try disabling SSL. Some firewalls cause SSL to fail. If you are still unable to send mail after changing the port and disabling SSL, you will probably have to use your ISP's SMTP's server, request that your ISP open SMTP to our server, or use webmail to send mail.
