When I log into webmail, why am I not being taken to the first message but to a random inbox page?

Believe it or not this is a "feature," not a "bug". When you login to webmail and click on your inbox, the webmail interface takes you to the page listing the first "Unread" message. If the first unread message in your inbox is older than your recent emails, you will automatically be taken to the page listing that first "Unread" message.
